Combination swim skills evaluation and open recreation swim.
Experienced GPCC Water Safety Instructor will be available to evaluate participants’ swim ability and recommend the appropriate class. After the evaluation participants are encouraged to stick around for an open swim in our fantastic Leisure Pool. Price: $5/person and FREE to Pass Holders

Ages: All ages Bring your own pumpkins to carve or decorate. We will provide paint and other supplies for decorating as well as knives and carving kits. All children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please call ahead to register. You can register at the door, but spaces are limited. You must bring your own pumpkin! Location: GPCC

The entire aquatics center is transformed into an eerie water playground with music by DJ Light & Sound. The lights are low, creepy creatures will be wandering and there will be glow necklaces for all. The event ends with a huge candy scramble – where bags of candy will be thrown into the pool for the children to gather up and take home.
Ages: 8-14 years This class will teach you from start to finish how to build your own autonomous robot controlled by an Arduino compatible microcontroller. The instructors will explain the how to create electric circuits using a microcontroller, breadboard, ultrasound sensor and programmable servo motors. All materials are provided and participants will leave with a self-driving, obstacle sensing robot.
