Nature Storytime Age: 3-5 years w/adult We will take a short hike to a spot in the trees to read “The Busy Tree” by Jennifer Ward and then go on a nature scavenger hunt. Bring a picnic to the park to enjoy before Storytime. Cash payment only for walk-ins. Location: HWP-Butler Pike
Community Yard Sale One person’s trash is another one’s treasure. Come find some treasure at our Community Yard Sale. Good bargain to be found for everyone! Family Walking BINGO Families Get active together as a family and have fun playing a unique game of walking bingo. For every half lap you complete around Harriet Wetherill Park you will stop and have 5 bingo pictures pulled. Win by getting 5 in a row. Snacks provided. Prizes will be awarded. Summer Solstice Celebration Age: Families
Celebrate the longest day of the year outside in nature! We will have a bunch of kid and family activities like making a flower wreath, sun crafts, trying our scavenger hunt and ending the night with a campfire. Snacks will be provided; bring a picnic dinner to enjoy in the park. Location: HWP-Butler Pike
DJ Entertainment begins at 7:30 and the movie at dusk.

Youth Triathlon at the GPCC Ages: 6-10 years
Children run, bicycle and then water slide to the finish line. Participants will need to wear athletic shoes, comfortable athletic clothes, bring their own bicycle with a helmet. Medals will be awarded to all participants who finish. One parent helper is allowed per child. This event is recreational, not a competitive. This is to encourage young kids to get out and be active! Location: GPCC Pavilion

Dog Days of Summer Celebration Families
Bring your furry companion to enjoy a walk at Harriet Wetherill Park with family and friendly activities. Create an ornament with your best friend’s paw print, try out an agility course, get some treats from one of our vendors and cool off in our sprinklers.
